The Foundation for Seacoast Health recognizes the important role ongoing staff training and development play in an organization's success. The current healthcare environment has resulted in a greater demand for specialized credentials &/or licensure for certain disciplines. Often, the cost associated with the required training is a barrier for organizations and/or their staff. The Foundation for Seacoast Health workforce development grant is aimed at easing this financial burden.
An applicant organization's home office must be in one of the following towns: Portsmouth, Rye, New Castle, Greenland, Newington and North Hampton, New Hampshire: Kittery, Eliot and York, Maine. Individuals benefiting from the training must be employed in a social service or health related field. Preference will be give to those health fields/careers experiencing a current workforce shortage.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted by April 1st of each year. Grant recipients will be notified by May 1st., funding will be provided based on the proposed training schedule as outlined in the application. The maximum annual request is $2,500.00
